Me and my partner went for our anniversary and it was amazing. The area is in the countryside so views are amazing! Facilities is home from home everything you need is there, it’s secure with an electric gate and a separate lock on your hut. Great communication throughout our stay and leading up to it with detailed instructions and what to do and where to go, amazing price and beautiful!

Me and my partner recently spent a night in the Ashwood Shepherds Hut and absolutely loved it. The bed was so comfortable and the bath was heaven! The view from the decking is beautiful and so peaceful to sit out on, especially in the evening. As it's winter we were worried we'd get a bit cold but the log burner kept the cabin so warm all night. Everything was so cosy and clean. We will definitely be returning :)

Just home from a lovely 2 night stay. We stayed in The Shepherds Retreat, which was beautiful and quint with everything you could need for a peaceful mini break. The check in/out process was faultless. We booked this on a whim a couple of months ago after loosing my mum a couple of weeks before my 40th birthday and not wanting to celebrate but knowing I would want to do something once the storm had calmed a little. This was the perfect break to escape and reset 💕💕

This was a beautiful rustic hut, beautiful countryside. Will definitely be re-booking in the future, can't wait to stay again. We would highly recommend to any couples or families that are wanting a mini break. Staff are welcoming and friendly and also the pubs in the area are affordable and very welcoming, with great food

Faultless, from booking, the correspondence and meeting some special requests as we was newly married and I booked as a surprise weekend away for the bride 😁The place is so quiet, tranquil and perfect for a romantic break.I would go as far to say, it’s the most clean and well presented accommodation I have ever stayed in.So warm, cozy and comfortable.The owners have really gone above and beyond with the decor and quality of the utensils and equipment provided.We will most definitely be back in 2025.

Myself and my partner have just come back from a 1 night stay in the moonkwood hut for a late anniversary get away treat and we are both so happy with our stay. The hut is beautiful and clean, modern and perfectly equipped with everything you’d need. The bed is very comfy and the bath is a lovely feature! The owners are lovely and very helpful. In my opinion everything was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back, thank you!!

Booked as a surprise night away for my boyfriend and honestly had the most amazing stay. We were a little bit worried about the cold but the log burner and underfloor heating kept us warm and everything was spotlessly clean. Had a beautiful view which was made even better by waking up to snowfall 😍 very easy directions and the host was lovely when corresponding through text. Will definitely stay again in the future and recommend to family and friends 😊

We had a fantastic stay at Ockeridge Rural Retreats and we stayed in their Hillside Shepherds Hut. The hut is well furnished, cosy, and perfectly accommodates two guests. The owners were very helpful before and during our stay. Jack’s Tuck Shop basket was a fantastic touch and we really appreciated all of the thoughtful details that have gone into making this a fantastic facility. We would highly recommend Ockeridge Rural Retreats.

I stayed here in November for my birthday with my boyfriend. After visiting a different cabin previously, we were blown away with this one! Cosy underfloor heating, stunning interior, the outdoor bath and fire topped it off for us! Lovely location and a perfect stay. Definitely will be visiting again!

A beautifully quiet location, perfect for a relaxing break! We stayed in the Shepards Retreat, it was spotless inside and out, the garden area was lovely to spend the nights sat outside with the chimnea burning away. My wife especially loved the enclosed, outdoor bath! Plenty of public footpaths to explore the surrounding countryside 30 seconds from the gates and only a 20 minute drive from Worcester.

Absolutely stunning, the shepherds Hut was spotlessly clean. We were left a few logs for the chimnea and a fire starter kit which was such a lovely touch.It’s off a country lane so it was beautiful quiet and the views and walks were stunning.I would 100% recommend

Just finishing off a lovely weekend for our anniversary and it was lovely staying at the Ashwood. Underfloor heating was lovely log burner and tub all cosy and romantic. The view from the garden terrace was beautiful and if you get a clear night then highly recommend sitting out with the lights off the stars are amazing. There are other cabins nearby but everything was so quiet and private! Highly recommend

Absolutely stunning place! Visited here as a couple. The cabin is so clean and so spacious. The family were so friendly and helpful with getting to the location. Definitely worth the money. Beds were so comfortable. They even include your own netflix to each cabin. Outside was very well presented with the lights all around following the hot tub and seating area.

Lovely touch that Jack the owners son has set up a little tuck shop as a business venture.Getting from the lodge to the outdoor bath and back again for all to see is not really what you would expect, and the road noise was a shame.We would defo come back, but I would book a different lodge

Had 2 nights away here with my boyfriend and we really enjoyed our stay. The setting was so gorgeous, we stayed in Hillside View which had its own little garden bar and decking area. The bed was really comfortable, and the decor was lovely. Really nice bathroom too. The owners were super responsive by text - we'd paid for a disposable bbq which got missed, but I text them to ask about it and it was rectified immediately. It did feel like we could text them for anything we needed. The area was really quiet and tranquil. Only real complaint is that some of the utensils, cutlery and crockery weren't cleaned very well but that might have been down to the people who stayed before us! On the whole I'd love to come back again - was sad to leave!

Just had 3 nights here and it was amazing, so close to lots of things to do and the setting was so relaxing. We stayed in the Montana with our 14 year old daughter which was the only cabin to sleep 4.We contact the owners by text when we had a little user error issue, and they got straight back to us with all the helpful tips, as I say it was user error and nothing wrong with the facilitiesJacks tuck shop was a nice treat and a blessing for our daughter who was straight into it when we arrived.Will be looking forward to returning, maybe for a couples stay next time 😁Thank you

My boyfriend booked this stay for us on my birthday. The place was very cosy and had very good decor! I loved the LED round the bed! We loved our stay here, the view was stunning, the lodge was cosy and the sunsets at night were unreal! Would defiantly come back I miss it already. In the hut you have a large double bed which was so comfy, complimentary shower gel and shampoo conditioner, a hair dryer(life saver)! The heating was vey good as well when needed. We enjoyed sitting outside in the evening the lights were perfect for us to do that! The tuck shop in the room as well has a great selection and was very reasonable pricing although we didn’t have any it was very tempting! Thank you so much for the amazing stay and we hope to see you again.

A perfectly beautiful rural retreat.Next time will stay for an extra night.Extremely clean, cosy and comfortable.I could only ask for 1 improvement, as the host knew which time roughly we was arriving it would of been nice to have set the heating as it was on a hive app as the cabin was about 14⁰ on arrival and took hours to heat up which wasn't ideal especially with a young child. Other than that we absolutely loved it and highly recommend the Thai restaurant nearby for food - 😘👌 🐉
